Über 70 Sportler nahmen bei der zweiten Station des Junioren-Weltcups in Latzfonsvom 4.-5.1.2017 teil. Ganze 17 Nationen aus allen Teilen der Welt nahmen daranteil. Im Starterfeld mit dabei waren mit Dominik Maier und Christoph Koglerauch zwei Nachwuchssportler vom RC Mondi Frantschach, welche schlussendlich ineiner hart umkämpften Gruppe mit den Rängen 18 durch Dominik Maier und 20 durchChristoph Kogler jeweils Top-20-Platzierungen verbuchen konnten. „Die Formkurvebei den beiden stimmt, sie tasten sich immer näher an die Spitze heran“, soSportwart Oskar Knauder, der gemeinsam mit seinem Vereinskollegen Hannes Kienzldie beiden Sportler beim Junioren-Weltcup betreute. Sieger: Florian Markt (AUT).
